David started Verseon because from the early days of genomics he realized that
the real value of the field is not in the genomic information itself, but rather
in translating that knowledge into better drugs and treatments for people. He
has guided Verseon's platform development to date and overseen the company’s 7
drug programs. Previously, David built one of the world's first bioinformatics
platforms at Hyseq. He is an inventor on 38 patent families. David received his
BS, MS, and PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
